Grossman Plastic Surgery Patients
We work closely with Grossman Plastic Surgery to make sure your surgery has the very best outcome possible. Please review the information below so you are prepared when you come in for your appointment.
SCHEDULING:

PRICING:
Below is a price breakdown so you can know what to expect, but the price will be roughly $300-650. Payment is expected at the time of service. This cost includes your physical, labwork, and EKG; a chest X-ray and mammogram incur additional fees as they are not done at our facility. Dr. Grossman and Dr. Capraro require you to see a Rose physician for your pre-op evaluation so that a physician familiar with your medical background can follow you in the hospital in the event that you develop a post-operative complication.
Insurance will not cover the cost of your pre-op physical unless they are also covering the cost of your surgery. Even if you are due for a general physical with your insurance, this is a physical specifically designed to anticipate and prevent possible complications of your procedure and to address peri-operative care. Accordingly, we cannot bill your insurance for this physical unless your insurance is covering the surgery as well.
In addition, insurance coverage for post-operative complications varies; we strongly urge you to check with your insurance provider prior to your procedure in the event that you require more post-operative care than anticipated.
ALL PATIENTS WILL NEED:
- Pre-op physical: $265-650
- Labs: Routine pre-op studies cost approximately $78 through Quest. The cost will be higher than $78 if additional labs are needed or if some of the labs are abnormal.
SOME PATIENTS WILL NEED:
- EKG and interpretation: $74. This is done in our office.
- Chest X-ray: This can be done at several locations. The price is $50 at Denver Integrated Imaging (939 Broadway, 720-932-0930, free parking), $51.50 at ImageOne (8101 E. Lowry Blvd #120, 303-340-8439), or $150 at Rose Medical Center
- Mammogram: If you are over 40 and due for an annual screening mammogram, insurance will likely cover your mammogram. Self-pay prices are as follows $125 at Women's Imaging Center (3773 Cherry Creek North Dr. #101, 303-321-2273), $103 at ImageOne (8101 E. Lowry Blvd. #120, 303-340-8439), or $133 at Rose Medical Center.
